Obituary of Edward Joseph Haddad

Edward J. Haddad, 92, died peacefully, March 8, 2014 at the Old Soldiers Home and Colony in Orting, Washington and went on to his heavenly home. Edward was born May 31, 1921 in Windber, Pennsylvania. He spent all of his adult life in the Pacific Northwest and worked for the Tacoma News Tribune for more than 30 years. Edward honorably served in the United States Army and participated in the Campaign on the Beach at Normandy during WWII. He is survived by his granddaughter Marcy, her husband Tom, grandson Leo and great grandchildren Josh and Holly. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 14, 2014 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Visitation Catholic Church.
