Obituary of Joanne Gilletti

Joanne Gilletti was born on December 27, 1927 to Melvin and Doris Hickey in a small town called Raven Run, Pennsylvania. Her early years were spent on a small Amish farm where her family raised goats and chickens. She was a coal miner's daughter. Joanne's family moved west to Washington State so that her father could pursue a career working for the railroad. In 1961 Joanne married Frank Gilletti. Frank worked as a barber while Joanne stayed at home and raised five children. Joanne loved doing word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and her Tuesday night bingo sessions at Harbor View Manor where she lived. She also enjoyed her weekly ceramic class at the Lighthouse Senior Center. She passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2013 at the age of 85. Joanne is survived by her husband, Frank Gilletti, sons, Jerry and Robert Buell, daughters, Theresa Anderson, Anita Kavanaugh and Elizabeth Gilletti, son in-laws, Rob Anderson and Randy Kavanaugh, daughter in-law, Cindy Buell, grandchildren, Jerry Buell III, Jonathan, Jared and Kayley Anderson, Jackie Gehring, Christina Bates, Zachary Neil, and five precious great-grandchildren.
