To the family of Chris. I know Chris to be a very caring, thoughtful and wonderful man, and I am so sorry for your loss. This is a great loss for you, as Chris wanted to have a happy life. I'm heart broken that Chris has passed away, but now he will be with so many family members that he has previously lost.

We have lost a compassionate man. A man who worked hard for every family he served. I will miss your smiling face. I sat across from you for 5 years and now there is a void. Since the 26th there hasn't been a day that has passed that your name hasn't been mentioned. We all miss you.

I was sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I had the privilege of working with him for two years at Piper Morley and Oakwood. He always had a smile to share, always a positive attitude. His upbeat approach to life was an encouragement to me many times. His deep knowledge of funeral service in general, and Oakwood Hill specifially, bailed me out many times. His passing is a great loss to his family, friends and the funeral industry. May God's peace be upon his family at this time.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Chris. I am certain that I have heard of him over the years as I am part of the Stonemor funeral home family. We all have special reasons for being in funeral service. He must have loved helping others and the profession is better for him having been a part of it. God Bless his family. I hope they find peace in the memories of the happy times. Sincerely, Cindy Hinton, Peake Funeral Chapel Milwaukie, Oregon
