I will greatly miss Dorothy's off the wall sense of humor and her tales of her and other relatives' childhoods growing up in Tacoma. Another beloved family historian is gone and will be missed.
We used to live in the same apartment complex as Bob and Dorothy (over 20 years ago). We were fairly young and they were always very nice to us. We moved shortly after Bob passed away, but we kept Dorothy in our thoughts. We exchanged Christmas cards,and she always remembered us on the Holidays. We remember that she liked sports and the Mariners, although they did not always do as well as she (and the rest of us fans) would have liked. We took her to a couple of ballgames and enjoyed her company. We are sorry to hear of her passing. Our thoughts are with her family.
Dorothy was a special lady and an icon at our apt complex. Both Doug and I will miss seeing her as she did her walking around the apt grounds. She never forgot our birthdays or remembering us at Christmas. Oh, how she loved to talk golf with us as well. Rest in Peace our friend.
