I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Evelyn's family and friends. I felt privileged to have known her. Just as she had a heart of gold she has passed on the same love and caring hearts to her family to carry on her legacy. Love, Pam

For many years Evelyn house-sat for my 2 cats. It was always a comfort to me to know that my little buddies had such good care and company. We talked about our love of the outdoors and the hard time we had of it when confined to the indoors. We often joked that it was a good thing we both had understanding husbands. For the last several years Evelyn and I went huckleberry picking together. It was something we both greatly looked forward to. I loved picking with her. It was filled with laughter, sunshine and gossip about everyone and everything. I took her to all of my favorite places. Even on lean years we knew the bushes that produced. Last year I took her up to Corral Pass. And she was courageous enough to drive back up that steep, narrow, rutted, switchbacking, rocky road in Dels big pickup! With her terrified daughter. Evelyn had an eye for wood! Even at 20 yards, in a jumble of logs, she could pick out the alder or fir from the other lesser wood. She got so excited over good wood. We both shared that same passion. In so many ways I miss her.So many daily reminders. I still find it hard to realize she is not around. It leaves an ache and a void. To all of her family, and her husband, my sympathy and condolence. I know she is smiling on you from above. She is the angel that will watch over you.

Uncle Delbert and family, Our hearts and prayers go with you now and forever as you mourn the loss of your wife and mother. She was always a spit fire of life. At family gatherings I always knew she'd have a great story of her adventures on her motorcycle. She lit up a room with her presence. I'll miss her dearly. Love, Janet

Mom was and forever will be a wonderful lady to me. (Even if she did ride a Honda.) She will be sorely missed. Ride free.
