Obituary of Joan Marie Dempewolf

Joan (Joanie) Marie Dempewolf (LeMieux) Was born on July 11, 1940 and passed away on January 24, 2009. Born in Tacoma, Washington. Graduated from Franklin Pierce High School. For the last 20 years she worked in the banking business in Tacoma. Survived by her loving children; Christy Dempewolf, Kellie and husband Andy Hein, Jody and husband Copeland Belmont, Jim and wife Keturah Dempewolf, and her loving companion Don Linn of 25 years and his four children: Traci Burris, Karl Linn, Carri Britten, and Becki Garaud. Joanie had sixteen wonderful grandchildren. Her hobbies included traveling and camping, spending lots of time with her family and grandchildren, and entertaining her good friends. Her Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. John of the Woods Catholic Church. Arrangements by Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home, 253-472-3353.
