I met Joan through work, enjoyed lunches, breaks and bus ride with her. Soon my husband (Ray) and her loving companion Don became the best of friends. We all enjoyed camping together and spending many other nights playing cards. When Ray passed away Joan and Don was there to help me through my loss. The 3 of us took a fabulous trip to Washington D.C. and then drove through Penn., to Niagara Falls. After seeing the Falls Joan asked me if there was any other place I would like to go my ans was to Herman, NY where my parents are buried. I don't get back there very often. Don first said to far Joan whispered something to him and the next thing I know we are on our way. Thanks to Joan I was able to get there, Don did admit it was a beautiful drive. I know they both enjoy the Adirondeck Mts. I will miss her, she was like a sister to me.
