Miss you Grandpa. I guess I just kind of hoped you would be around forever. Hope turned into a thought and denial set in. I chose not to see it even though I knew it was coming. I wasn't able to let you know everything I wished you were able to hear, but at least you always seemed to know it was me when I came to see you, and at least I was able to be around before things got bad. I love you and miss you so much.
I am very fortunate that I got to know my father-in-law, if only for three short years. In my husband I see the wonderful father and husband he must have been. You will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Rest in peace.
Going through dad's pictures with my wife. So Glad he got a chance to know her. Cheri and I have been together 3 years. He called her his daughter and her kids and granddaughter as his also. He didn't always have time for 6 kids working as hard as he did, but he loved his wife for over 60 years and I hope to follow his example
