Louie Costanti was one of our favorite relatives. Raised by our Grandfather in Italy, he especially loved our Mother, his Aunt Mary. When she would visit friends and relatives here in Tacoma, Louie would always come to see her at his sister Mary Bisceglia’s house on South Hosmer or to our home. Years ago, Louie had a delivery stop in our neighborhood, on South 43rd. He’d check up on us from time to time, and our five children looked forward to his visit. If they were too young for school, they’d watch at the window for him and let me know if they saw his truck. I can’t help but think of Louie when I make pizzelles. He loved them a little well done. When he reaches Heaven, the first person to greet him will be his beloved Meme. He’ll search for his mom and dad and his many siblings who have gone before him, and LOVE will be abundant. Our family will never forget one of our favorite relatives & good friend, LOUIE COSTANTI!
