Obituary of Richard Carrig

Richard "Dick" Carrig passed away peacefully on March 4, 2009 after a valiant battle with cancer. Dick served selflessly for 27 years in the U.S. AirForce, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant with numerous decorations. He was an active member of the community in both the business and the civic arenas. Dick is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gladys; son, Chuck (Shannon) and grandchildren Gary and Gabrielle; daughter Jenny; brothers Ray and Bob; sisters, Karen, Sharon and Babe; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 Noon on March 29, 2009 at the Moose Lodge in Yelm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, National Kidney Foundation, or the "Gift of Life" at any Puget Sound Blood Bank.
