Obituary
Obituary of Joshua Allen Christian
Josh was born in Tacoma on October 8th 1976.
He went home on August 4th 2018.
Josh is survived by his mother Nancy Elliott, his step-father Dennis Elliott.
His sister Joelle Deremiah; half-sister Carrie Lemagie and half-brother Rod Christian.
Josh was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness and his long- lasting friendships with buddies from grade school.
There are a few sweet ladies from Josh's past and present who I know remember him with Love and fondness.
Josh had a lovely and sensitive Soul that could be felt by anyone who got to know him, and you knew down deep that he cared about you.
He totally loved all things Volkswagen and of course his favorite team, DA Bears.
Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday and he looked forward to the traditional dinner I would cook every year. He loved my turkey gravy and could not wait to tease me by saying, "Mom, please pass me the bowl of grease."
Another quote was, I never met a pizza I did not like, although it was a close call the time he had a slice of a veggie thin crust white sauce pizza.
My Josh was a troubled and restless Soul for many years, and the passing of a close friend was very hard on him and I know it caused another rip in his heart.
Josh had his demons and sometimes lived too dangerously.
We, the addicts of this world sometimes come into this life with an overload of empathy for all life, be it other humans, animals or Earth herself. This is a painful way to live if we are not able to learn the skills that can help us navigate.
Sadly, so many of us do not.
I know without a shadow of doubt that my son Josh now knows Indescribable peace. As do I.
I love you baby boy and I am so proud of you and was honored and blessed to be your mother on Earth and in this life.
