Obituary of Jimmie Ruth Ginnis

Jimmie Ruth Ginnis, who was affectionately referred to as Auntie Ruth by almost everyone who knew her, passed away on November 11th. She was 87 years old and is survived by Carolyn Frye, Kathleen & Richard Heidal, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Ruth was a sweet lady & made a lasting impression on everyone that met her. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, & word puzzles, but loved most to feed the hummingbirds every summer. She loved visitors, especially children & pets. And enjoyed church on Sundays, where she had lots of friends, even more. Ruth was married to her husband, John, for 58 years before he passed away five years ago, nearly to the day. She left a mark on a lot of hearts and will be truly missed. We know that she's happy to be with her beloved family in Heaven. May her memory be eternal! Funeral service will be at 11 am Friday, Nov 18th at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
