We met in the 9th grade; Stella was kind and thoughtful, and we quickly became best friends. That friendship spanned over 50 years, through many changes, but we remained friends to the end. I miss you every day, Stella, our talks, garage sales, breakfast at Ben Dews, hours of just talking. I still can't believe you're gone, except when I reach for the phone... Then I remember & am sad.
