Well my brother, about eight hours from now you left us in body. Your soul is still with me and the our memories that we shared. If there is such a thing as a hereafter, I know you will be there and enjoying looking down upon us mortals. Time is flying and we all are on the down hill side of our time here on earth.
I look forward to discussing our eath life and how things have changed. I miss being able to discuss with you all of the happenings. I hope to dream about you tonight as I did a month after you passed.

We'll Big Brother...it's been almost a year and the pain is just the same...I miss you so much and have needed to talk to you and have you hold me and tell me all is going to be ok Sissy...I know you are in my heart and I am sure you were beside me praying for Ron's life..I know you are with me when I get to bring Ron home. I haven't played much Crib it hurts to bad...but I bet I could still kick your butt. I know you are happy cause you are with our Lord and your beloved wife Barbra so much of our family there....how about giving Mom & Pop a hug and kiss..see you soon Love Your Sissy

We had so much fun this weekend . We ate until we thought we would explode ! Then later in the night Richard and I made ham sandwiches
We miss you so much....life is different without you to call up and hear your voice and reassurance that Ron was always going to be ok...you were strong for us when the need was there.. Love your Sissy.

It is with a heavy heart that we light this candle for you ...but just as Jesus is the light...this will also be your beacon..headed home ...singing The ( Old Rugged Cross) like you did for me so many times. Jake and Bobbie are really flying their colors now on that low slung Harely. I was nineteen years old when I spent my spring break with my Uncle Richard (Dick) and Aunt Bobbi in Tacoma, Washington. Through my eyes, Uncle Dick was always larger than life. His stories were so full of life and excitement, especially for a naive 19 year old. When he spent time with you, you felt like you were the only one! I am sure many of you felt that way.
He took me one day on errands with him in his old truck. There was talk of a strike on the docks and he had to meet with several people. We hit a few bars (I sat in the truck and waited). He would only be at each place for 20 to 30 minutes and several people walked him out to the truck. Everyone was trying to get his ear on the subject. Everyone wanted to talk to him. He was important. He listened to them and rallied each of them. He would give me summary after each stop.
I got to see his professional side and he was a ROCK STAR! I never saw him the same again. I loved my Uncle Dick. I know he is with Aunt Bobbi, his Mom and Dad, his children and relatives. I know there was a HERO welcome for him in Heaven; because he touched people that way. I love you and will see you again. XOXO.
