Obituary of Frank G. Barna

Frank G. Barna: Born February 20, 1922 Passed away May 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital. Frank was born to John and Susan Barna in Tacoma the 7th of 10 children. Graduated from Lincoln High School in 1940. Retired from Pacific Storage & Freight Division after 30 years and Teamsters 313. He was drafted into the Army Nov. 19, 1942 and had a medical discharge Feb. 20, 1946. Frank was a life time member of DAVE American Legion. He enjoyed his life with his wife Dorothy (Chee-Chee) for 69 years, going to the ocean, digging clams and drinking a few beers! After Dorothy passed away in 2012 Frank was taken care of by his loving niece Debbie Ruvo and husband Larry. He resided at Comfort Haven adult family home the last few years. He is survived by his sister Marcy of Mt. View, CA., several nieces and nephews and especially Debbie. He will be missed. Arrangements by Piper-Morley with Oakwood Hill funeral home, entombment at Calvary Cemetery Cloisters. No service or memorial.
