We Love and Miss You everyday. We talk about the good times and memories, but there are those times when the tears come and there is nothing to do but let them flow. Thank you, Dad, for all that you gave to your big, wild, crazy family. We Love You more than words could ever express...and that is Forever.

Many years ago a Specialist 4 met the girl of his dreams and went after her with a complete abandonment of all common sense. Unfortunately for him he was soon to discover this girl was also the Daughter of his Command Sergeant Major.
Even then this CSM was known as a soldier's soldier. CSM Campbell would stand by you if you were right but was the first to let you know if you were wrong. Trust me wrong was not something you wanted to be.
I will spare you some of the details but will let you know the Spec 4 did not have anything to offer the Campbell family but when in love we do crazy things. Our 1st meeting was interesting as he was sitting at his kitchen table reading the paper and drinking his coffee. After introducing myself Pat folded the top of his paper down with his thumb and forefinger and asked me 1 question which I have chosen not to reveal but needless to say I didn't give the right answer but it was an honest answer. The conversation was concluded but never forgotten and will always be remembered.
I ended up marrying my love and was then part of the Campbell family. The 1st meeting with Pat after the marriage was having a cup of coffee and his words were to let me know the past is the past and he welcomed me into the Campbell family. In the 34 years since never a cross word has been spoken to each other. We do not argue with those we respect and he always had mine.
I came to love Pat as much as any son could love a father. One of the greatest lessons he taught me is that through God all things are possible.
I will close out by saying we lost and laid to rest this March a real American hero that was loved by all that really knew him.
Goodbye Dad and I will see you again.
Respectfully Danny Money

Dad I'm so glad Patrick and I had a chance to celebrate a birthday lunch with you. If I had one more day I would tell you a million times how much we all you. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? John 14:2 Rest now we will see you again Love Anne Marie (Twiggy)

Maxine and Family, I was deeply saddened hen I heard about Pat's passing. He was a dear friend from our days at Ft Lewis. I think I will never forget an event that happened while I was the First Sergeant of the 9th Finance Company which was attached to the 503rd Support Group. Pat called me early that morning and in a very angry tone of voice and demanded that I get my old you know what up to his office immediately. Of course I did as he demanded. When I arrived at his office he quickly got up from behind his desk, came over and gave me one biggest bear hugs I had ever gotten. He then congratulated me and told me that my name was on the Sergeant Major list which had just been published. Pat was a true soldier and the best friend, mentor and leader soldiers and their families could ever have. I will miss him greatly. Bill

Pat,it will be different without your presence at Visitation. I say this because it is always nice to walk in and see you with Maxine. Walking up to you and giving you a hug, you then will ask, "How's Robin". It is comforting to have memories even to the smallest and simplest. You, Maxine and your family are our family! Always have, always will be! I love you like a dad! I will miss you forever!

Pat was an amazing man. There was never a doubt he was military. He loved Maxine so much and would always pretend he put up with the dogs because of Maxine but his love shown thru. He was also an Oregon Ducks fan and I tried to bait him one time but he knew far more than I ever could. He was an easy man to joke with and give a hard time to but he always gave it right back. I know that I personally will miss him a lot. Maxine I will always be here for you. Love to you and your whole family. April
