Obituary of Katie Ann Lichtenwalter

Katie A. Lichtenwalter, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away at her University Place home January 1, 2015. A life member of Pierce County Nurses Association, as well as the American Nurses Association, Katie had been employed at St. Joseph, St. Clare, and Allenmore Hospitals. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard; sisters Yvonne and Henrietta; and good friend Ed Barker. Katie is survived by her brothers Stanley (Linda) Korte and Dr. Alvin (Marie) Korte; sisters Lillian Korte and Sylvia Korte; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 1pm Friday, January 9, 2015 at Piper chapel, 5436 S. Puget Sound Ave. Tacoma, WA 98409. Remembrances in Katie's name may be made to Friends of University Place Library, Tahoma Audubon Society, or to the Salvation Army.
