Obituary of William L. Cornelius
William L. "Les" Cornelius passed away November 20, 2014.
He was born on October 26, 1922 in National, WA.
Les was an Aviation Metalsmith 1St Class during WWII in the South Pacific. After the war he began a long career as a firefighter for the Tacoma Fire Department. He loved camping and fishing, as well as travelling and playing games. He had a great devotion to the Lord, and loved studying the Scriptures. Les is survived by his sister Violet Monroe, his daughter Deanna Cornelius, sons Michael (Debbie) Cornelius and Joseph (Gail) Cornelius, grandchildren Haley, Whitney (Leif), Jenny, Melissa (Randy), Amanda (Patrick), Amy, Allison and Michael and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Agnes Cornelius, his parents, 1 sister and his son Kevin.
