Obituary of Wanda Mae Bradford
Wanda Mae Bradford was born by Gladys Otis Brown and Rodney Brown in her father's pickup truck on the way to the hospital near Lodi, CA. The date was January 11, 1932. Wanda passed away peacefully October 21, 2014 with the loving support of her daughter Cynthia and son-in-law Jim Matthew, and her Adult Family Home care providers Winnie and Grace in her own room.
Wanda taught briefly for the Salem(OR) School District. She then taught for the duration of her teaching career for the Woodburn (OR) School District. Her students meant a lot to her and she often expressed the rewards of teaching, challenges, and breakthroughs with her peer educators. She was dedicated to helping her students build skills and achieve to their best potential.
Wanda was a true matriarch. She raised her daughter as a single parent. Cindy, two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters continue on with much love, for she cared for them all so well. She has three surviving sisters and a number of nieces and nephews.
