Obituary of Charles J. McQueen

Charles McQueen, 90, passed away July 25, 2014 due to complications from surgery. Charles was born June 17, 1924 in Aberdeen, WA. His family later moved to Tacoma and Charles graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 1942. He served in the US Army in Europe during World War II. Upon returning to Tacoma Charles worked for the Heidleberg Brewery for a while, and later with the US Postal Service, where he worked until his retirement in 1980. Family members include his wife, Janet; children James, Sharon Kohlwey (Roger) and Debbie McQueen (Alan Neils); granddaughter Sela Neils; sisters Mary Gjerdrum of Palmer, AK and Pat Peters of Packwood, WA. No memorial services at his request.
