Obituary of Willebrordus M. Brinkman

Willebrordus "Bill" Maria Brinkman, 79, was born Jan. 19, 1935 in Tilburg, Netherlands and died May 26, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. He immigrated to Vancouver, BC in 1958, met his wife, Jini, and married on Oct. 27, 1961. They immigrated to Tacoma on Oct. 13, 1662. Bill worked 17 years for Tom Carstens Porsche-Audi, 20 years at the Port of Tacoma, and was a longshoreman ILWU #23 until retirement in July 2007. His hobbies were fishing, soccer, birdhunting and traveling. He leaves to mourn his wife, Jini; daughter Karen Hartman (Blaise); son Robert Brinkman (Joy); grandchildren James & Christina Hartman, Kase & Francesca Brinkman; brother Frank Brinkman of Ontario, Canada; Sister-in-law Rita Brinkman of BC, Canada. Many good friends here in WA, OR, MT and BC.
