Obituary of Emil Sverre Anderson

Emil Sverre Anderson, was born June 5, 1922 in Graham, WA, to Lucy & Sverre Ingemund Anderson. Emil lived in Tacoma during his 91 years. He passed away on Feb. 20th at the Weatherly Inn. Emil graduated from Lincoln High School, became a CCC employee and was a Navy SeaBee in WWII.. He was trained as a carpenter and retired from Pacific NW Bell at age 62. Traveling, outdoors, camping, fishing, skiing and dancing were his favorite activities with family. He blessed his children with the love of travel, outdoors and adventure. Emil has 3 children with his first wife Dorothy, who passed away in 1966 and married to his present wife Marjorie in 1969. They were happy snowbirds for 28 years traveling to Yuma each winter. Emil is predeceased by his Father, Mother and brothers Harold, Bill and Clarence. He is survived by Marjorie; sister Grace; daughters Marlene & Linda; sons Steve, John (Xia); 5 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
