Obituary of Toni Faye Felton

Sunrise August 15, 1961 Sunset January 20, 2014 Toni Faye Humphrey Felton went on to Glory at age 52. Toni was born August 15, 1961 to the union of Evelyn and Doray Humphrey Jr. in Pineville, Louisiana. She went on to be with the Lord January 20, 2014 at her residence in Tacoma, Washington. Toni accepted Christ as her savior at the age of seventeen under Reverend E.S. Brazill. She was the seventh born of eleven, the devoted sister of Mary Caywood, Charles Humphrey (Marion), Gregory Humphrey, James Humphrey, Jeanie Robinson (Delroy), Michael Humphrey, Troy Humphrey, Treasa Weddle, and Annie Humphrey. She was the beloved wife of Samuel Dennis Felton for twenty years and adoring mother of Samantha Felton, Courtney Felton, and Antonio Felton. Toni was the cherished grandmother of Aviontay, Shavontay, Javein, Kahreem, Zakiyah and Major. Toni has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Toni is preceded in death by her father Doray Humphrey Jr., her brother Kenneth D. Humphrey, and her son Samuel Dennis Felton Jr. With a heart full of compassion, Toni spent her life nurturing the development of her children. Once her children were of an independent age Toni obtained her Certification and worked as a Nursing Assistant and later as a Residential Counselor within the Washington State Service System. She was a humble woman who found joy in cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her grandchildren. It was a priority of hers to ensure that her family and others were happy. Toni's passion to support others was also seen through her training as a Massage Therapist at Everest College. Due to her illness this desire was cut short but her caring nature will live on in our memories. We would like to give special thanks to Pastor Christopher, Sister Christopher, Greg Williams, and Shiloh Baptist Church members. We thank all friends and family for their steadfast prayers through this difficult journey. We love and appreciate you for your every act and thought of kindness. Toni is pain free now and at peace in the bosom of the Lord.
