Richard Patrick (Pat) Woolery
Born March 3, 1930, in Puyallup, WA, and passed away Dec. 25, 2013.
Pat attended Visitation grade school (1944), Bellarmine high school (1948) and received an associate degree from Tacoma Community College. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from Washington Natural Gas Co. (1992) after 35 years of service.
Pat enjoyed music, crossword/jigsaw puzzles, golf, working with wood and was a voracious reader.
Survived by his loving wife Carol, sons Rick (Clemencia), Tom (Susan), Dennis (Mary), Bob (Shelley), step-sons Tony and Todd Dogero, granddaughters Simone, Sophia, Hayli, Madison, grandsons Chris, Dominic, Riley, sisters Donna Mae Brown and
Frances Wooten. Preceded in death by parents Clyde and Irene Woolery, son Steve, brothers Bob and Joe, sisters Dorothy, Betty and Margie.
He was Carol's dearest friend and the best Dad ever!
A viewing will be held at Piper-Morley Mortuary, 5436 S. Puget Sound Ave, on Jan. 2, 2014 (5:30 - 7:00pm) followed by a rosary at 7:00pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Jan. 3, 2014 (11am) at Visitation Catholic Church in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bellarmine Prep High School, Tacoma, in Pat's name.
