Obituary of Jill Kari Viafore
Jill Kari Viafore (Nowasky) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Dec 9th, 2013 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jill was born Jan 9th, 1960 in Tacoma to Floyd and Judy Nowasky. She graduated in 1978 from Franklin Pierce H.S. She received an AAS degree from Pierce College and an Interior Design Certificate from Clover Park Technical College. The majority of her career was spent as an Interior Designer for the Hillhaven Corp and later for Multicare. Jill is survived by her parents, Floyd and Judy Nowasky, loving husband Mike, brother Scott Nowasky (Betty), sister Joy Smith (Kevin), nephews Brandon and Jace Dykman, Mitchell Nowasky, niece Hollyann Nowasky and great niece Grace Dykman. Jill always had a positive attitude, easily made friends and was loved by all that knew her. She touched many lives with the handmade quilts that she shared to keep us surrounded by her warmth. Dogs and cats were her passion and they were all her friends. A special thanks to Dr. Chen and all the doctors, nurses and staff at the TG Oncology department for their compassion and dedicated support. A celebration of Jill's life will be held at Pioneer Park Pavilion in Puyallup, 330 S. Meridian, on Monday, 12/30 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, Jill requested donations be made to the Tacoma Humane Society, 2608 Center St, Tacoma, 98409.
