I'm so very saddened to hear of Lamar's passing, he was an incredible man who genuinely cared about everyone he came in contact with, he will be greatly missed.
Lamar was a good and kind man. He was always positive and friendly. As one of the "posse" my heart hurts with you. I remember Lamar fondly and he has a special place in my heart.

My heartfelt condolences to Jeanne and Jodie. Lamar was as kind, caring and genuine an individual as I've ever known and he has left an indelible mark on me and on all of us so fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know him. We have just lost one of the great ones.
Dearest Jeanne and Jodie, My heart sank when I read Lamar's obituary. Seems as though he was taken suddenly like my father. I have such fond memories of him from the years I hung out with Jodie and especially the times when I got to go with your family to Hood Canal! I was saddened to see the obituary for Lamar today. I have played golf with him throughout the years and found him to be a really caring man. I had lunch with another golfer friend this week who also played with Lamar. We lamented that we hadn't heard from him lately. Lesson to us Seniors: follow up on people who seem to drop out! My sympathies to the family.
