Obituary of George Angelos

George passed away peacefully at home on June 1, at the age of 84 surrounded by his wife and children. He married Margaret (Schibig) Angelos in 1955, and resided in Tacoma, next door to the home he shared with his parents and siblings. He retired from the former Northern Pacific/ Burlington Northern Railroad after 36 years of service. As an accomplished golfer George won many tournaments over the years. His numerous golf accomplishments were only surpassed by his love and devotion to his family George is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Margaret; his children Tom (Jana) Angelos, Debbie (Gary) Wilber, Karen Angelos, (Dan Strege) Georgia (Pete) Froelich, Tina Billings, Greg Angelos, and Margaret (Jon) Rican and 7 grandchildren. Remembrances can be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church or Franciscan Hospice. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 9th from 4:00-7:00pm at Piper Morley Funeral Chapel.
