Obituary of Leonard Donald Turrell

May 15, 2013 Age 96. Long time area resident of Tacoma, Puyallup, and Lacey Washington. He was born in North Dakota to Harold and Ruth. Survived by Lois, his wife of 74 years. He is also survived by his children Leah, Lorena, Phillip, and Vern, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and extended family. Leonard had a long career as a truck driver and member of the Teamsters local 313 retiree club, the American Historical Truck Society and the Vintage Tanker drivers. Leonard loved his large family and had several interests throughout his life; fishing, camping, traveling, rock hounding, and vintage cars and trucks. He was usually found in his shop fixing anything that needed attention. A memorial for family is planned later.
