Obituary of Jeannie P. Walker

Jeannie Thompson Walker July 25, 1937 - March 27, 2013 Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Nathan L. Walker, Lt. Colonel, USAF, Retired; daughter Elizabeth (Lisa) Walker Cree and husband Gary; son Michael Edward Walker and wife Joyce; grandchildren Sarah (and Franco), Jeramy (and Devenie), Kristen (and Josh), Jessica (and Steve) , Brian, and great-grandchildren Jaden, Nolan, Rylan, Gaven, Carli, Bindi, Liam, Tallulah and Eamon. A member of The Officers Spouses Club, Ladies of the Chapel, Washington Craft Guild, Day Island Yacht Club, and Seymour Botanical Conservatory, Jeannie was an avid gardener and Mariners fan but her primary focus was on her family and her faith. Remembrances may be made in her name to "Hospitality Kitchen," 1323 South Yakima, Tacoma, WA 98405. Vigil 7 pm Wednesday, April 3 at Piper Morley Chapel, 5436 South Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9 am Thursday, April 4 at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7112 South 12th St, Tacoma. Inurnment at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent.
