Obituary of Patricia Anderson

On December 10th, 2012, our beloved mother Patricia "Tish" Ann (Cobb) Anderson in the comfort of her family, entered into the Gates of Thanksgiving Psalms 100:4. Tish was born on March 18, 1949 to the union of Carrie Mae & A D Cobb and her sisters Delorse (Cobb) Baines and Jeanette Cobb who have all preceded her in death. At an early age Mother was baptized at Shilo Baptist Church in Tacoma, WA by former Pastor Ernest Brazil and without a doubt she loved the Lord. Tish attended Tacoma Public Schools, beginning with McCarver Elementary and graduating from Stadium High School. She also attended Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Tish met and married ex-husband Wilbur Anderson. From this union they had three daughters: Stacy (preceded her in death), Keisha and Eboni (Michael). Patricia worked 8 years for Weyerhaeuser and later went to work and then retire from The Bon Marche (Macys) in the Tacoma Mall. The best job she had, in her own words, was being a mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. Others left to cherish her memory are her brother Albert Donald Cobb; grandchildren DeQuania, Diamond Jr., Dekari, Brandon, Jalen, Devin and Brooklyn; nieces Ronda, Nyika, LaToya, Yolonda, Jalih, and nephew Brian, all of Tacoma, 7 grand nephews, 9 great nieces, along with a host of family and friends. Patricia will forever be remembered by her children, grandchildren and family for always laughing, listening to her music and her love for watching kids cooking/baking. She touched the lives of so many with her smile, generosity and her humor all the way to the end.
