Obituary of Amelia B. Blair

Amelia (Amy) B. Blair (86), a long-time resident of Marion, died peacefully in her home Monday, August 2, 2010. Mrs. Blair retired as the Executive Director of the YWCA of Marion in 1991, and moved to Washington State that same year. She lived in Duvall, Washington for 18 years and in Redmond, WA for the last six months. She was an active member of the Northwest Driftwood Artists and the Redmond Senior Center. Mrs. Blair is survived by her sister, Trudy (Charles) Fury, Roseville, CA; four children, Susan Drago of Blue River, OR; Donald (Janet) Blair of Eugene, OR; Nancy (Tim) Huffman of Renton, WA and Kathy Blair-Allen, Duvall, WA. She had 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of a memorial, there will be a Celebration of Amy's life on September 5th at 3:00 pm at the Westminster Chapel Center, 13646 NE 24th Street, Bellevue, Washington.
