Obituary of Rocco Bertucci

Rocco Bertucci Born Feb. 6, 1921 in Simbario (Provincia Catanzaro) Reggio Calabria, Italy. Passed away July 3, 2012 in University Place, WA. Was predeceased by wife Francesca Bertucci and son Giuseppi Bertucci. Survived by 3 sons, Antonio, Cosmo and Frank. Daughters, Theresa and AnnaMaria. He served in the Italian Army during WWII. Immigrated to America in 1958 and worked on the railroad and later for the Tacoma shipyard. He was a member of the Carpenters Union of America. Rocco loved tending to his annual vegetable garden and numerous fig trees. He loved playing Bocci, hiking, and playing his accordion. Rosary will be recited 10:00 AM Friday followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 at St. Ritas Catholic Church.
