Obituary of Richard Lester Urich

Richard Lester Urich Born on November 20, 1943 to Harry and Claty Urich in Chehalis Washington, passed away on Sunday November 18, 2007 at his home with his family at his side. He was very proud of his military career. He served active duty of 12 years, 3 months and 2 days and served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam, one in the Army and another in the Air Force. He was a lumber broker for 19 years and worked from offices in Louisanna, Texas and Washington. Richard had his private pilots license for 47 years, he began flying at the Chehalis Airport. He ferried planes from all over the US back to Texas for Chuck, an airplane broker out of Rockwall, Texas, to be reconditioned and resold. He shared many stories about his adventures. Traveling was one of his biggest enjoyments but he also loved to go elk hunting and do some fishing. Digging clams at Westport was another fun time shared with friends and family as well as flying to the San Juans for crabbing. He is survived by his loving wife Marya, sons Rickey(Faye) Urich, children Aaron, Stewart and Brandon, Steve Urich, Children Kelsey and Jordan, Kyle (Heather) Urich, children Hope, Hayden, Max and Gracie, Shane Urich, daughter Stacie (Kenneth) Thompson, children Brianna, Allie and Jamie, 5 step children, Terry (Roger) High, children Jason and Tracie, great grandchildren Travis and Dalton, Vicki (Mike) Howard, children Micheal and Angela, great grandchildren Hayli, Micheal Jr.III, Robby and Addy, Dennis (Denise) Severson, children Christopher, Kathryn, Rachel, Brian Severson, child Kristen, grandchild Matthew and Jim (Barb) Severson, children Jimmy and Lance. Two sisters Barbara of Adna and Donna of Portland, brother Dale of Alaska and his mother-in-law Rosa Hibbard of Eatonville. He also had numerous nieces and nephews. We will all miss Richard very much as will his friends.
