Obituary of Philomena Storwick

Philomena "Minnie" Storwick Loving Mother and Wife Born 10-26-1931 in Hettinger, North Dakota. Moved to Tacoma at age 5 and in 1975 to Gig Harbor. On 3-24-2012 she joined her daughter Maria in Heaven. Minnie enjoyed traveling, gardening, bowling and sewing. While caring for her family she still found time for volunteering to help children learn to read. Later she went to work for the Post Office as a rural carrier in Gig Harbor. She will always be remembered for her energy for life and her loving heart. She was loved and admired and will be missed by all. Minnie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bob, children, Genevieve (Mike) De Nevers, Tony (Libney), Joe (Vicki), Cecilia (Dave) Hess and Martin, her brothers, Pete and Tom and 15 grandchildren. Rosary will be recited 7:00 PM, Thurs, 3/29 at the Piper Morley with Oakwood Hill Chapel 253-472-3353. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 PM Friday, 3/30 at Visitation Catholic Church.
