Obituary of Frederick W. Stoermer

Frederick W. Stoermer Gone Climbing Began the ascent March 2, 1937 Reached the summit April 2, 2007 After a long journey with cancer Fred passed peacefully on April 2nd with his daughter at his side. He is survived by his only child Heidi Stoermer and sister Jeni Kotva, as well as his nieces and nephews. Among his many passions were summers at Camp Seymour, climbing in the Olympics & Cascades, boating in the San Juans, and camping at the ocean. Join together in a celebration of his life on April 20, 2007 at 3pm in the Piper-Morley-Mellinger Chapel. Published in the News Tribune (Tacoma) on 4/13/2007
