Obituary of Doris M. Stevens

Doris Marie Stevens Born February 1, 1930 to Paul J. and Helen (Kazda) Hebert in Tacoma. Passed away June 18, 2007 after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Survived by husband William J. Stevens, son Jim Stevens and his wife Laura, and grandchildren Joel and Ronni. Until recent years she had been an active member of the AREWS. She is also survived by her brother David Hebert (Laura), sister Joanne Hammerich (Leo), sister Loretta Macha, sister-in-law Julie Hebert, and numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil service to be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 7:00 PM at the Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Church of the Visitation in Tacoma. A reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall. Committal Services will be held at Calvary Cemetery Cloisters Chapel with inurnment to follow. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Visitation Parish School or the Holy Rosary Parish School.
