Obituary of Carmine Spina
HE'S GOLFING AGAIN, CARMINE "SAL" SPINA Passed away peacefully 1/19/12 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born in Pietrafitta, Italy on 9/15/31, the son of Giuseppe and Conchetta Spina. Sal came to America on 7/15/62. He worked as a machinist and later owned Nutini's Boutique, Fircrest. Sal became a US citizen on 12/28/04. He was a man of many talents, had many friends and was loved by all who knew him. Survived by sister Maria Pantuso of Windsor, Canada and cousin Mario Santelli (Dorothy) and family. The family thanks Franciscan Hospice House, the St. Joseph Hospital 10th Floor Oncology Team and Dr. Jorge Chaves for their compassionate care. Donations to Franciscan Health System are appreciated. Funeral Mass at 11 am, Thurs, 1/26/12 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Tacoma. You are welcome to attend the daily Rosary at 9:45 am.
