Obituary of Eleanor Schaff

Eleanor Schaff was born July 1, 1933 in Glen Ullin, ND. She was the youngest daughter of Jacob and Margaret Wetzel. Matt and Eleanor Schaff were married on Sept. 23, 1952 in Mandan, ND. They lived on a farm west of Flasher, ND for several years. In 1968 they moved to Tacoma, where Eleanor worked at Merrill Lynch and The People's Store. Eleanor is survived by two sons and two daughters, Robert (Lisa) Schaff, Pamela (Hal) Heather, Cynthia Kemnitz, and Randall (Ellen) Schaff, ten grandsons, three granddaughters, three great-granddaughters, four great-grandsons, and three sisters, Minnie Wegerle, Alma Berger, and Christine Meidinger. She was preceded in death by her husband Matt Schaff of 53 years. Eleanor was loved by many and will be missed by all. Viewing will be at Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, 12-8pm.
