Obituary of Joanie Ellen Sapp

Joanie Ellen Sapp was born on December 17th, 1957 in Tacoma, Washington and passed away on June 22, 2008. Joanie was the youngest daughter of Ralph & Helen Ricketts and grew up in University Place, where she graduated from Curtis High School in 1976. Joanie loved her various jobs of cooking and catering to many different people. Her pride & joy were her daughters Danielle and Jenny and her grandchildren Juanita and Connar. Joan's sense of humor and care for others will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Jenny Sapp of Tumwater, grandchildren Juanita and Connar, mother Helen Ricketts of Lacey, sister Susan Hinzpeter of University Place, and nieces Shauna Hinzpeter and Lisa Kane of Tacoma. She is preceded in death by her daughter Danielle Sapp and her father Ralph Ricketts. Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Christian Church 860 East 38th Street Tacoma, Wa.
