I am sure there was much happiness in heaven when Dorothy joined Gil. She was a beautiful person and a special friend. Dorothy touched many people's lives and will be remembered with love. I am sure you will miss her but she will always be near. Sincerely, Virginia

I will miss Dorothy's constant caring presence in the family. She always wanted to know that everyone was ok, and if they weren't, what she might be able to help with to make it ok. Dorothy was a very accepting and welcoming presence, and I will miss her wisdom and the way she always knew that caring for people was the most important thing, no matter what. I hope your spirit is out there having a great time, Aunt Dorothy. Love, Cindy

Dorothy will truly be missed by all. My Mom (Vi) adored her very much and Dorothy did so much for her. When Kirk was born, Dorothy was the only person I trusted to watch him since my Mom and brothers all worked. She was good to all of our family and especially wonderful to my sister Sandy when she was sick. She had a big heart and was very much interested in our family's lives.

I met Dorothy as a teenager. All were welcome in her home, which she shared with many, many children, giving them the love and care they needed. During the difficult times in my life, Dorothy gave me the support, courage, and strengh I so needed to get me through. Her family is in my prayers.

My mom and I both send our love to all of you. Dorothy's countless nieces and nephews will miss her deeply. At every Family Gathering (throughout my entire life) we could always count on Dorothy to be there with a carful of food. She would talk to every person in the room and be caught up with everyone's life in no time at all. We will never forget her invitations to "Eat, Eat....we've got plenty..." I remember she even invited the mailman in to have lunch with us. Dorothy will be missed by all of us...we hope to see you soon.
