Obituary of Eddie Preston

Eddie was born in Riverdale, Florida on Decemember 17, 1926 to Ernest and Louise Preston. He served in combat in the United States Army during World War II and in the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Army after 30 years of service and settled in Tacoma with his wife, Mary. He leaves to mourn Mary Preston, his beloved wife for 61 years, 10 children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew. Eddie's presence will be missed by members of Shiloh Baptist Church, where he and Mary were members for many years. He was a Deacon and taught Kindergarden Sunday School. Loved ones will remember Eddie most for taking his children and grandchildren fishing and crabbing, as well teaching car repairs.
