Obituary of Dorothy B Piete

Dottie was born February 15, 1923 and passed away October 4, 2012. She lived her entire life in Tacoma. She worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for many years. She and Harold (husband) were long-time members at Fircrest Golf Club and the Tacoma Elks. In later years she was also a social member at the Tacoma Yacht Club. She was an independent, strong-willed, and energetic woman. She loved dancing, golfing, playing bridge, gardening, knitting and crocheting, and was an accomplished seamstress. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and her granddaughter Elise. She is survived by her children Lea Anne (Jim) Lince and Douglas E. (Chris) Piete, a grandson Douglas C. (PJ) Piete, and 2 great granddaughters. By Dottie's request, no services will be held. Donations in Dottie"s memory may be made to Franciscan Hospice House.
