Obituary of Bessie Will Petty

Bessie W. Petty 1929 - 2009 Our mother was born September 20, 1929 in rural Moxubee County Mississippi. She departed this life on October 31, 2009 in Tacoma, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Petty Sr. and son Don Petty. Our mother was baptized at Central Church of Christ on February 12, 1956 in Tacoma, Washington and remained active until her passing. Our Mother was a lovable individual and had a great sense of humor. Because of her outgoing personality and positive outlook on life, she developed many friendships and many of our friends called her mom. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters: Ann (CT) Mumford, Annie Laura Saulsberry, Yvonne Williams, three sons: Willie Joe Petty Jr. Lonnie Petty, Lennie Petty, eleven grandchildren: LaGina Simmons, Gregory Simmons, Ulondia Towery, Aretha Petty, William Saulsberry Jr., Sean Saulsberry, Lennie Petty Jr., Chris Robinson, Londale Petty, Levelle Petty, Shaloni Petty, nine great grand children, six great great grand children, eight brothers: Ben Jeffries, LC Jeffries, Sam Jeffries, Levie Jeffries, Leo Jeffries, Benard Jeffries, Samearl Jeffries, Barrylyn Jeffries, three sister: Beulah Abrams, Annie Will Collie, Eloies Smith.
