Obituary of Margie Repole Nomellini

It is with heavy hearts we announce Margie Repole Nomellini born March 08, 1921 in Seattle joined God on June 22, 2011. Our sadness is tempered in the knowledge that she joins her husband of 56 years, Louis J Nomellini. An accomplished singer and entertainer Margie sacrificed a career in Hollywood to marry Louis in 1939 and moved to Tacoma. During WWII, Margie served her country as a" Rosie the Riveter" while her husband joined the fight. After the war, Margie and Louis opened Nomellini School of Music where Margie taught piano and voice. Her family appreciated every smile, every gentle word and every glorious song that she sang. Margie spent her life sharing her love of music with her students and family. This is her legacy. May the music she created and inspired in others reach around the world. She is greatly missed and is survived by her two daughters Marie Markovich-Zander, Lita Nomellini and two grandchildren Margie Duvall and Gina Markovich and two great grandchildren Alexander and Arianna Duvall.
