Obituary of Clarence Nedved
Clarence "Ned" Nedved passed away on November 28, 2011 at the age of 90. He was born in Yankton, S. Dakota on Sept. 21, 1921 but resided in Lakewood, WA for over 60 years. Following 21 years in the Army where he served in both WWII and the Korean War, he spent another 16 years in Civil Service before retiring in 1979.
He loved the great Northwest for its fishing and hunting but also enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Ruth with whom he spent 65 loving years of marriage, their four children, Trish (Ron) Bradbury, Peggy (Teri) Deal, Dave (Providence) Nedved, and Jeff (Elizabeth) Nedved, plus five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister Gladys Miller of Lakewood.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday Dec. 2 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Lakewood. Reception immediately following. Arrangements by Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home 253-472-3353. Please sign the online guest book.
