Obituary of Garrett Robert Murphy

Passed away December 18,2011. Gary was born on December 20, 1954 in Fairbanks Alaska. He graduated from Nenanah High School with a class of 12. He then worked for the Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator in Fairbanks until he moved to Seattle in 1978 and worked for the Teamsters as a long haul truck driver. At the time of his passing he was employed with Vic Hoskins Trucking and also a Doyon Corporation share holder. Gary loved driving his Peterbuilt and loved to travel on vacation to the Oregon coast & Las Vegas. He was also awed by the Love he felt for his grandsons. He never missed going to Pacific Raceway for the big drag races every year. He also loved Country music and loved to watch old Western movies. He is preceded in death by his grandparents James & Mary Walker, parents Lillian & Garrett Murphy and a sister Merlyn Murphy. Survived by & Beloved Father to James Murphy, Garrett, Gary & Dion Murphy, brother to James Walker, Margaret Murphy, Mary Murphy, Larry Frey & Bridget Frey. Awesome Grandpa to Andre & Jaylen Viken and stepdaughters Andrea and Stephanie Chamberlain. Leaving behind a long time Love, Joy Chamberlain. Gary, you will be missed by all of your family & many friends. You are now at peace Sweetheart!
