Obituary of Josephine E. Minnitti

Josephine Minnitti (Jo) 89 passed away peacefully on July 15, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Jo was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 3, 1922. Jo met Dave at a Ballroom Dance while he was in the Navy, stationed at Olathe, Kansas. Married in 1944 and moved to Tacoma in 1945. She worked at Northwest Glove Factory and then at Fort Lewis Logistics Center as a seamstress. Jo loved to sew, bake and crochet afghans for her family and friends. Jo was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church. She is survived by husband Dave of 67 years, son David (Viviane), daughter Michele (Tom), 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 24, 2012, 10:30 AM at St. Rita's Catholic Church 1403 S. Ainsworth Ave. Tacoma.
