Obituary of Chong In Hui Mendoza

Chong In Hui (Elizabeth) Mendoza 8/25/1941 - 9/11/2007 Went to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday in the afternoon surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in South Korea and was left an orphan by the war. In 1970, she met her future husband Gabriel. She made friends all over the world and finally settled down with her husband in Tacoma, WA in 1986. She worked for the Korean Women's Assoc. for many years, finally retiring in 2006. She is survived by her husband Gabriel Mendoza, son Pedro, daughter-in-law Ning and granddaughter Nattacha. Rosary will be held at Piper Morley Mellinger Funeral Home on Monday, 9/17/2007 at 7:00 PM, and her funeral will be held at Visitation Parish at 10:30 AM on 9/18/2007. A reception will be held after the service in the Collier Hall across the street from the church. Services are entrusted to Piper Morley Mellinger Funeral Home, 253-472-3353.
