Obituary of Joseph B. Matteo

"Gone Fishing" Joseph B. Matteo, 52, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He loved fishing and played guitar with the "DAJOJOS' Band. Survivors include, loving wife of 33 years, Carol; Parents, Joseph F. and Helen Matteo; Daughters, Cris and Amy; Son, Jade; Brother John, all of Tacoma; Sister, Diane Quimby and Uncle Bennie Matteo, both of Rhode Island. 6 Grandchildren, 5 Nieces. Visitation; 1-6:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 11,2008 at the Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home. Funeral Mass; 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Visitation Catholic Church. Vigil Service will be held prior to Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospital and Franciscan Hospice House for their exceptional care given to Joseph.
