Obituary of Joe G. Lopez
Joe Brian came into this world February 13, 1971 and left us May 13, 2008. We were told his heart was too big and that is exactly the kind of person he was. He is preceded in death by his dad, Joe G. Lopez, Sr., and twin sisters Eleanor and Marcia Bailey. Joe Brian left behind his mother and best friend Kathryn E. Lopez, father Bill Bailey. Children Joe Baker, Brian "Boobutts" Lopez-Bailey, Tyler and Dominque Cornyn-Lopez, and Sunny Dawn McCloud. 4 grandchildren Jonathon, Sean, Ryan and Kayla Baker. Brother Tony Bailey, sister Stephanie Bailey of LaConner. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Joe Brian was the most loving son, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin and friend there was. He lived on the Puyallup reservation most of his life. He graduated from Chief Leschi High School, worked for the Puyallup Tribe for many years in a variety of jobs. The one he loved and talked about the most was his job at the Bingo Palace. He followed his Native Traditional way of life "smokehouse." Joe Brian always seen the good in everyone that crossed his path, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He could make you smile with those big dimples of his. He was always giving hugs and telling everyone he loved them. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, karaoking, dancing, and spending time with his family. There will be a void in all of our hearts, those dimples will be greatly missed, and we will cherish the many, many memories of the loving man he was. There will be a wake Friday, May 17, 2008 at 7pm and Funeral services at Chief Leschi School Saturday, May 18, 2008 at 10am. Arrangements made by Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home, 253-472-3353
